Eduardo Kingston is the sports editor for “The Raider Voice.” It’s his third year on the staff. Outside of journalism he does swimming and plays water polo. He enjoys watching his soccer team Flamengo play whenever they have games.

The boys water polo team won states last saturday. They beat Dr. Phillips 9-8 and finished their season with a record of 22-4.The team was led by Gabe Lewis who scored five goals and Juan Sebastian Ibarra who had 12 saves.

The Champions League is the main European tournament in Europe. The best teams face off against each other in hopes to be able to declare themselves as Champions of Europe in the end of the tournament. This year, the teams still remaining are: Real Madrid, Manchester City, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, Arsenal, and Paris Saint Germain.

The girls swim team were crowned Runner-Ups at the 2023 FHSAA 2A State Championship. The girls earned a total of 195 points and had some incredible swims. Junior Reese Rosenthal became state champion in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:03.13.
