Anya Gruener is currently the managing editor of “The Raider Voice” and the editor in chief of the Print Magazine. Gruener has been in the staff since freshman year, having held the position of multimedia editor in the past. She greatly enjoys creating both video packages and articles. Within the school community, Gruener is also the Student Body President, the Health Information Project President, the Don’t Close Your Eyes Club President, and the Jewish Student Union Vice-President.

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme held its Annual Pinning Ceremony on Nov. 30 to honor the classes of 2024 and 2025. Parents, teachers, and administrators, among other supportive audience members, gathered in the Miller Campus to celebrate the students’ achievements. Juniors and seniors recieved pins to commemorate their participation in the two-year international education program.

Board members of The Jewish Student Union (JSU) took turns presenting on the current Israel-Hamas war during a presentation titled, “Understanding the Hamas War on Israel”. JSU board members hosted the community event to foster education and understanding. They also aimed to address misinformation and the rise in antisemitism that often accompanies discussion about the Israel-Hamas War.

Students in Michelle Cooper’s IB SL Physics class engaged in a ‘Cooking with Heat Transfer Activity’, which allowed students to observe and discuss the various means by which heat is transferred into, or out of, food as it is being prepared for consumption. Students were then to create a “live-action” cooking video showing the separate types of heat transfer present during the cooking process.
