Construction is currently underway for a new academic building located where the bleachers for the Sean Taylor Memorial field once existed.

One of the sacrifices faced from construction over the school year has been the demolition of Crossbridge Church, a space that once housed both classrooms and parking spots for faculty.

Some of the new athletic center installations will include a running track, basketball courts, and be constructed with the use of outside natural light in mind— a strong departure from the existing "blue dungeon."

As a result. all junior and junior/senior parking buddies must now park at a designated Dadeland Mall lot and take an additional bus to school.

Cement prepares to be poured as construction will be continued into the summer.

Students may soon see the benefits stemming from the construction, as the new Sean Taylor ’01 Memorial Field was scheduled for completion by the end of Jan. but may continue into Feb. Along with bleacher completion scheduled for the beginning of next year.

Troop 2450 performed “Sit Down You're Rocking the Boat '', which consisted of coordinating many actors in a large group performance. Hernan Rodriguez (center top) took a leading role in the score.
