English teacher Dorielys Guerra holds the poster for the upcoming Greece trip. She chaperoned a school trip there last spring. The experience sparked the idea for this new program.

Seniors Eden Meidar Alfi and Leticia Lemann wrote "The Elefant in the Room", a children's book spreading dyslexia awareness. Alfi was diagnosed with dyslexia at a young age and her experiences influenced many events which transpire in the book. Alfi and Lemann hoped that through this project they would be able to reach out into their community and inspire change in regards to the stigma surrounding dyslexia.
