Sara Fidler is a sophomore and copy editor for “The Raider Voice”. While this is her first year as staff, Sara previously contributed to “The Raider Voice” as a freshman. This year, Sara is looking forward to writing about current international issues and highlighting local businesses. Outside of journalism, Sara is an avid traveler who enjoys immersing herself in the local culture.

Junior Eden Tzur selling her “Beads for Israel” jewelry to customers at an event at Temple Beth Am. Tzur, who started the business in Nov. 2023 after the Oct.7 Hamas attacks, has raised over $10,500 in aid for Israel. In the future, Eden plans on continuing to grow the business by attending pop-up events and raising awareness.

Junior Joaquin Sandaal donates blood during the annual One Blood drive, hosted in the Blue Dungeon by the HEAL Club. The drive, open to students and staff 16 and older, aimed to combat Miami’s blood shortage by collecting donations for local hospitals. Each pint donated has the potential to save three lives, showcasing the generosity and community spirit of participants.
