Brief | Homecoming Pep Rally

Students and faculty gathered in the Blue Dungeon last Wednesday for am 80’s themed pep rally, showcasing grade skits and fun games in preparation for the Homecoming Dance.

“Participating in the TikTok trend to see if students’ cars were unlocked was a great idea for the senior skit,” senior Daniel Lipoff said. “It was really fun editing and making the video because I love to do stuff like this so I’ll do it any time the opportunity shows up.”

The atmosphere continued to be filled with school spirit, following a game of musical chairs with junior finalist Nico Piñeros and sophomore finalist Juan Sebastian Ibarra as they battled for the final chair.

“I didn’t know I was going to win the whole thing, it was a surreal feeling,” Ibarra said. “Hearing all my friends screaming my name made it an amazing experience.”

Georgia Easton’s Beauty and the Beast Homecoming proposal to Marcelo Miranda followed the junior skit. Spirit filled the gym going into the senior skit with the assembly ending with cheers.
