Super Bowl Sunday is here once again. The Bengals are facing the Rams at So-fi Stadium, which is also the Rams’ home stadium. This is also the second time in history that a team has played at home in a Super Bowl, the first was last year in 2021 when the Buccaneers won the Super Bowl at home.

The Bengals started the season with their chance of reaching the Super Bowl being similar to the Lions, Texans, and Jets, who all ended with losing records. The Bengals have been underdogs throughout their entire playoff run and will continue this streak in the super bowl being +4.5 underdogs. But the Bengals are coming off an 11 point comeback on the Super Bowl favorites, the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Rams are coming off of a win over the San Francisco 49ers snapping their six game losing streak. Previous to this game the Rams had not beaten the 49ers since December 30, 2018, more than four years. The Rams last time in the Super Bowl was in 2019 in Super Bowl 53 when they lost 13-3 to the Patriots. The Rams also have the best wide receiver in the whole league who also won Offensive Player of the Year.

The Rams are looking strong but the Bengals have made surprises happen before. With Joe Burrow and Offensive Rookie of the Year Jamar Chase anything can happen. The Bengals have taken out the #1 seed and one of the teams that most expected to make it. Both teams have a strong offense and good quarterback to wide receiver connection. But the Rams defense has been dominant throughout the season with Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsy.

I would like to see the Bengals win with Joe Burrow having an amazing season. Matthew Stafford also deserves a ring, but I have been for the Bengals throughout the playoffs. I would be fine with either team winning but would prefer to see the Bengals take it home. They have been underdogs since the start of the season and I would enjoy seeing them take it all this year.
