“What it means to be a Raider is having compassion for others, working hard toward your goals, and being kind toward others, even if you don’t know them personally. You are a part of a loving community that will always care for you and have your back at all times.
What I have learned at Gulliver that I have applied out of school is the importance of community service and being caring toward others, especially those that are going through hard times. I have also learned to respect others, especially if you and a person have different opinions.
The Gulliver community has shaped me by allowing me to become the best version of myself that I can be in and outside of the classroom. I have become a more compassionate and caring person toward others in my school community and in my own community as well. Also, Gulliver has allowed me to know the importance of being there for others. Gulliver has definitely allowed me to become the best person that I can be, and I am extremely grateful for that.”
