“For me, being a Raider means feeling part of a true community. Gulliver is a home away from home.

The student body here is the best I’ve experienced in over 40 years of teaching. When your workplace doesn’t feel like a job, you know you’re where you’re meant to be. I genuinely look forward to coming in every day, and even taking a day off is difficult because I don’t want to miss the chance to engage and debate with my students.

In fact, one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned here is how to better embrace different perspectives.

To me, leaving a legacy means helping build a student community that’s stronger than the one I found. I want to help shape students into people who create change—and ultimately, help build a Gulliver that listens to and supports every student.”
