“Growing up as a Raider has meant belonging to a school that gave me many opportunities, constantly pushed me to grow, and amazing people. Allowing me to create connections with people who are important in my life and, again, to have endless opportunities at my fingertips.
By coming here, I was able to find my passions through all of the different extracurriculars and classes. During my time there, I was part of the girls’ lacrosse team and also took classes in French and the art program. By taking these classes, I had some amazing teachers who cared about my journey and wanted to see me succeed. The school pushed me forward and really prepared me for the next steps in my life, and I think it built a very strong foundation that gave me an advantage when I went to Northeastern for college.
My fondest memory of my time at Gulliver was when I was part of the girls’ lacrosse team with my friends in my sophomore year. We had a very fun group of girls, and every day we would show up to practice and get better.
I learned that having a mindset of doing more than what is asked makes all the difference in the world. Not just doing the bare minimum but going the extra mile. I also learned to be curious about everything the world has to offer.”
