“For me, what it means to be a Raider is being a part of a brotherhood. When I moved to Miami in 7th grade, I didn’t know what to expect. I mean, if you had told me then that five years from now I would be the varsity team’s starting quarterback, I would have laughed at you. Now it’s my reality. When you do anything in life, there are ups and downs. I can throw a touchdown on one drive, and the next, we go three and out. That’s life, but what I have learned during my time at Gulliver is that no matter what, I will always have people in my corner to support me, whether it’s my teammates, coaches, or teachers. This school has a community that embraces everyone, no matter their background or talent. That’s the beauty of being a Raider: we all have a story to tell, and this school allows us to express our talent to the fullest.”
