With limited time —running on select nights from September 2 through October 31— and with so much to do, hitting the best haunted houses first is the best way to experience all of the horror. The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare takes number three on the list, but whichever haunted house you choose to embark on, you are sure to have a spooky night.

Named Best Halloween Event by Amusement Today’s Golden Ticket Awards for 12 years, Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights is the place to be. Running on select nights from Sept. 2 through Oct. 31, the spooky event includes ten haunted houses, five scare zones, two live shows, and attractions ensuring visitors will have a terrifying night. With so much to do, hitting the best haunted houses first is the best way to experience all of the horror. Here are our top takes on the best haunted houses at the park.

5. Fiesta de Chupacabras

At number five, this terrifying house features the legend of the goat-eating creature, the Chupacabra. Walking through a colorful Latin American village, visitors truly feel transported to another world. If the authentic scenery is not enough, then the blood of tourists and the realistic face of the Chupacabra is definitely enough to give anyone a spook.

4. Universal Monsters: Legends Collide
Featuring the classic Universal Monsters, The Wolf Man, Dracula and The Mummy all make an appearance in this haunted house. Each monster is pitted against each other, and it is up to the visitor to discover who will come out on top. With the victorious monster changing each night, this haunted house is not only scary but an exciting surprise.

3. The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare
Enter the gruesome mind of The Weeknd in this haunted house. Featuring his After Hours album, bandaged maniacs performing plastic surgery and a grotesque mannequin masquerade are just some of the exciting features of this haunted house. Listen to the popular music of The Weeknd, all while getting the fright of your life.

2. Halloween
Set in Haddonfield, Illinois, Michael Myers embarks on his first brutal spree and you are the victim. This original 1978 horror classic, Halloween, is one we’ve seen before at HHN, but with an entirely new ending this house is the place to be. If the exciting new ending is not enough, then the realistic set piece which transports you into one of the greatest horror movies ever made is sure to do the trick.

1. Dead Man’s Pier: Winter’s Wake
Set in a frozen fishing village in New England, the haunted house walks through the story of a woman’s grief over the loss of her sea captain husband. Visitors are attacked by ghosts and waterlogged corpses of dead sailors with barnacles overtaking their faces as they accompany the woman through her journey to try to rescue him from the sea. We later encounter the ghost of her husband haunting his favorite bar, and the melancholy widow playing her violin above you . From the small town square scene to the ruinous ships and boathouses, the design of the set is one of the best ones yet. If scenery or storylines excite you then the Dead Man’s Pier is the place to be.
