Campus Voices: Hybrid Learning as a Senior

I thought today’s first hybrid learning was very interesting. I’m not a fan of online school because I have to stare at my computer for six hours straight, which tends to give me headaches and make me lose interest in class. I think it was really nice to see people in class— it’s a sign that things are slowly getting back to normal. It made me happy to see students have the urge to learn and call out the answers to questions.

It’s a very smart start to school, having the choice to stay online, because I know a lot of people are uncomfortable about going back. I’ve always liked being in school because I get to hang out with my friends and talk to my teachers. I love making people smile, and the fact that I won’t be able to see their faces in person doesn’t mean I won’t stop trying. As a senior, I’m really excited to go back to school and see faces other than my family’s. Since it’s my last year at Gulliver, I will take what I can get, even if there’s two people in my class, and try to make it an amazing year.
