The Raider Vision staff is excited as the school unveils its fifth, brand-new morning show, Raider Rise set to premiere in the coming weeks.
“I’m excited to be able to work with my classmates together to create a new morning show that will entertain students around campus,” junior Luc Caroll said.
The school’s talented broadcasting team designed the show, which will be streamed to classrooms and cover student life, news, and school events.
“The new show is part of our new content with Raider Vision. We have been thinking about this type of show for the last two years, so we have put a lot of effort into it,” broadcast teacher Zach Garrett said.
The show can be accessed on the school’s digital platforms, accessible on smartboards and personal devices every Friday, and streamed on applications such as YouTube.
Junior Sarah Shapiro, the show’s executive producer, shared her thoughts about how she is excited about the new upcoming show.
“I am most excited about using the studio because it was just finished, and we finally have a brand new area to use as a broadcasting team,” Shapiro said.
Raider Rise isn’t just about entertainment; it’s a strategic effort to boost school spirit and encourage student participation.
“Raider Vision and Raider’s Voice work very similarly, and it would be nice to collaborate with the Raider Voice team to help cross-promote our media and experience the story in more ways,” said Garrett.
Anticipation is at an all-time high with the first episode airing in the upcoming weeks. Students are excited to have the chance to watch school news in the morning, as it brings back memories of a middle school morning show, Raider Student Network, also known as “RSN.”
“I am excited to be able to watch the Raider News again in high school like we did in middle school. I feel it helps bring us all together and stay frequently updated all the time,” sophomore Isabella Lopez said.
As the release of the show approaches, one thing is clear: Raider Rise is predicted to become a statement piece for the school, attracting many students’ attention and positive comments.
