The Raiders Boys Basketball team hosted against the True North Titans on Monday, December 2. The Raiders went into this game with a 3-0 record after a win against the Miami Christian Victors, and two statement wins during the National HoopFeast Tournament in Tampa against Carrollwood Day and St. Petersburg, a game where senior point guard Jacob Marquez scored a 65-foot game-winning buzzer-beater to go along with a 40-point performance. The Raiders would go on to blow out the Titans with a 69-43 victory with efficient three-point shooting and good defense. Still undefeated, the team will play the Belen Jesuit Wolverines on Thursday at 7:30 PM in hopes of pushing their win streak to five in a row.
Assistant coach Rudy Johnson gives the Raiders a pep talk to prepare the players for their game. Johnson has been an assistant coach for the Raiders since the 2020-21 season and has been a coach who the Raiders look up to. Coach Johnson has experience with playing D1 basketball at UCONN and even winning Florida Player of the Year.
